Dr. Susan Resnick
Dr. Susan Resnick specializes in the fitting of contact lenses for myopia control, astigmatism, presbyopia as well as complex visual and corneal conditions. She focuses on the treatment and management of dry eye in patients who have become intolerant to lens wear as well as patients who do not wear contact lenses. Dr. Resnick, a Diplomate in the Cornea, Contact Lens and Refractive Technology section of the American Academy of Optometry, the American Board of Optometry and the Scleral Education Society is a consultant to the contact lens industry as well as a sought-after speaker and author.

Dr. Jordan Kassalow
Jordan Kassalow is a managing partner at Drs. Farkas, Kassalow, Resnick & Associates. With over 30 years of experience, he specializes in advanced contact lens. This includes a focus on myopia control for children, and the management of keratoconus and other corneal abnormalities. He has consulted for many major contact lens companies, including Alcon, Johnson & Johnson, and Cooper Vision. Dr. Kassalow received the 2018 Luminary Award from the America Optometric Association to recognize him as a distinguished clinical practitioner.
Dr. Kassalow is also the Founder of VisionSpring, a high-impact social enterprise that expands access to eyewear by selling radically affordable, durable, attractive glasses into emerging and frontier markets. VisionSpring has reached over 5 million people since its inception. Jordan’s leadership has been recognized by the Clinton Global Intiative, the World Bank, and the World Economic Forum amongst others.
Jordan earned a Doctor of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry (NECO), received an Honorary Doctor of Human Letters from NECO in 2016, and a Fellowship in Preventive Ophthalmology and Masters in Public Health from Johns Hopkins. -
Dr. Caryn Nearnberg
Dr. Caryn Nearnberg holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Brandeis University and a Doctorate from New England College of Optometry. She is a comprehensive eye care provider specializing in contact lenses, binocular vision, dry eye, and pediatrics. She connects her specialty contact lens skills and her passion in pediatrics when fitting orthokeratology and distance-centered multifocal contact lenses for myopia management. Dr. Nearnberg is certified by Paragon Vision Sciences to perform Corneal Refractive Therapy (CRT) as well as by Euclid Systems Corporation to perform Emerald Vision Shaping Technology (VST).

Dr. Priya Patel
Dr. Priya Patel completed her Doctorate in Optometry from State University College of Optometry in Manhattan. She is trained with a focus on pediatrics, ocular disease, and specialty contact lenses at sites inclusive of the Northport VA Medical Center, Pisacano Eyecare Surgery Center, and SUNY Optometry Specialty Contact Lens Clinic. Dr. Patel specializes in the management of myopia progression, ocular disease, and specialty contact lens fittings. She had completed the myopia management seminar through the Brien Holden Vision Institute, and has fit numerous patients with orthokeratology overnight lenses and prescribed alternative methods to curb the progression of myopia.
Drs. Resnick, Kassalow, Rosin, Nearnberg, and Patel with offices in Manhattan and Long Island are nationally and internationally recognized for their expertise in contact lenses, dry eye, surgical co-management and comprehensive eye care. They have been treating children for myopia control for several generations and continue to remain at the forefront of the latest methodologies such as orthokeratology (ortho k).
